What OvuPlan does, and what it doesn’t

OvuPlan is an organiser. It keeps your treatment information in one place and reminds you about things at times you have set.

OvuPlan does not:

• diagnose anything, or tell you what your results mean
• predict or detect ovulation, or tell you when you are fertile
• work out, check or suggest a medication dose
• interpret follicle sizes, lining thickness or blood results, or compare them to any normal range
• tell you whether you are ready for a trigger injection or a procedure
• replace your clinic

Everything in OvuPlan is what you typed in

If your clinic changes your dose or your dates, OvuPlan will not know until you update it. If you enter something incorrectly, OvuPlan will show it back to you incorrectly.

Reminders can fail

They depend on your device, your browser and your internet connection, and on notification permissions staying switched on. Please do not let OvuPlan be the only thing standing between you and an injection. Keep your clinic’s own written schedule, and set a backup alarm for time-critical medication such as a trigger injection.

Always follow your clinic’s instructions

If what OvuPlan shows disagrees with what your clinic told you, your clinic is right. If you are worried about your treatment or your health, contact your clinic. In an emergency call 999 or NHS 111.
